THE story of the Kearsley Academy teenager who is preparing for her GCSE's while looking after her poorly mum is a very heartening one.

Zaynab is just 16 but juggles her schoolwork with being a carer for her mum Rahat who has multiple sclerosis - the chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system.

Now, Zaynab has been chosen as one of three finalists in the national Young Carer of the Year category of the MS Society's annual awards and we all wish her well. See the link below for the full story:
